Benita C. Lambrechts interweaves fantasy and autobiography in her one-woman show, "Racing Tortoise Tempo Slow." Follow a young woman's journey from a remote island to the bustling streets of a big city as she pursues her dream of becoming an artist. Amidst adversity and loneliness, she finds unexpected mentorship from a giant tortoise named George. With George's guidance, she learns to navigate the challenges of the elusive industry one step at a time. But as the threat of the sixth mass extinction looms, she faces the ultimate question: why continue striving when failure seems inevitable?
